online spell checkDance Massive exists as the concurrent programming and scheduling of contemporary dance works and events across three Melbourne venues. Artists wishing to present work in Dance Massive should develop relationships with the participating venues and organisations and have a strong sense of Dance Massive and the kind of work and audience that are attracted to the audience.
Each presenting organisation, Arts House, Dancehouse and Malthouse Theatre has different programming and selection processes for Dance Massive. Artists should approach each relevant organisation individually if they have an appropriate work ready for presentation.
If you have presentation-ready work you’d like to present at Arts House for Dance Massive in March 2017, you can submit your Expression of Interest (EOI) online at any time. If you would like to develop a new work for Dance Massive, you may submit an EOI for project developments taking place between July 2016 and June 2017. Development EOIs open Monday 28 September 2015 and close at midnight on Monday 26 October 2015. Visit ‘Opportunities for Artists’ for more information.
