From 1997 to 2001, he was the C.E.O and artistic director of the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra; he then worked as the executive director of Accentus Choir until 2003. Since 2004, he is the artistic director and C.E.O. of La Comète, Scène Nationale de Châlons-en-Champagne, a national multi-arts venue.

Guillaume Soulard is the artistic director of the Tjibaou Cultural centre in New-Caledonia since 2012 but he has spent most of his career in New Caledonia and in the pacific region.
