Arts House is excited to present a new initiative, the National Indigenous Choreographers Residency, as part of Dance Massive 2015; which focuses on contemporary cultural dance practice, exchange and engagement.
Following on from an Expression of Interest process, four established Indigenous choreographers from around Australia will work with local Indigenous choreographers Mariaa Randall and Jacob Boehme as lead artists and an exciting group of industry leaders in an intensive and immersive residency during Dance Massive 2015.
Participants include Ian RT Colless, Eric Avery, Pauline Lampton and Henrietta Baird .
Master class facilitators include Gideon Obarzanek (Choreographer), Helen Herbertson (Choreographer, VCA Lecturer), Deon Hastie (Artistic Director, Kurruru) and Isaac Drandic (Associate Director, Ilbijerri Theatre Company).
